Human Performance & Wellness, Inc. (HPW) is a professional, scientific, consulting firm specializing in the ‘people' part of human movement / accidents in our earth environment. With over a 20-year business history, HPW is well experienced to service you and your business needs.

With its professional history dating back to the 1980s, HPW was re-organized and incorporated in late 1996. HPW roots of the 1980s go back to the pioneering work of current President and Senior Scientist, Barry T. Bates, B.S.E., Ph.D. Dr. Bates established Biomechanical Systems Analysis to address the needs of plaintiff and defense attorneys as well as the needs of businesses interested in design, testing, and evaluation of exercise equipment or machines. Primarily through the work of Professor Bates, BSA flourished to the point of incorporation in 1996.

Under the new business umbrella of Human Performance & Wellness, Inc., and the addition of new permanent staff, the business (HPW) continues to serve the needs of plaintiff and defense attorneys, as well as exercise equipment companies interested in evaluating products. As a result of market need, HPW recently opened a satellite office in Henderson, NV in order to serve the clientele in the greater Las Vegas area.
